Epoc Bedside Blood Machine

I've found some old documentation that suggests it provides an HL7 interface, but I'm waiting on confirmation from Siemens.

The epoc Blood Analysis System comes with a number of integration options:
The simplest is using eDM Lite, which allows results to be manually saved to a PDF file.
You can specify a filename, which would allow the document loader to automatically attach it to an existing investigation. You need to manually input patient details with this integration.
A more automated solution requires the Siemens Meditrac software. This enables the device to lookup patient details from the PMS, and also send results to the PMS. To support this would require development work.

Hi Tim,
A year on and we use this machine a LOT. We would really like to get it integrated with OpenVPMS. I have reached out to VepaLabs a couple of times, but not getting a response.
Is there something OpenVPMS can do (with our funding of the development work) to get the integration started?

Hi Greta,
I have had multiple discussion on this with Vepalabs and I believe the best approach is using our new email loader as I beleive they can email results to a specified email address from their integrtaion software. Obvioulsy will need to confirm they can name the attachement correctly and if emailing is automated or manual ..
