Investigation module
Welcome
This group has been formed to work on the requirements and specifications for the proposed Investigations module.
This module deals with work flow associated with ordering, monitoring, receiving and storing investigation results in OpenVPMS.It includes communications with internal and external devices and organisations.
The aim of the project is to provide clinical staff with sufficient functionality to streamline management of investigation orders and results, provide suitable viewers to view these results as part of the patients clinical record and provide extensible interfaces to facilitate a broad range of internal and external communication protocols and applications.
We have created a number of areas for the members of the working group to collaborate on defining and documenting the module. These areas will also be viewable by all interested parties.
Requirements - These detail the required module functionality and include the documentation of common scenarios and use cases.
Specification - as we get further into the module design we will build up a comprehensive specification of what the module will do and look like. This will be a bit more technical.
Below you will also see a growing list of JIRA entries. This will represents actual tasks that need to be performed by developers to build the new module. Once the specification is complete you will see a growing list of tasks, bugs, feature requests and can monitor the complete development progress.
