Email Enhancements

This project arose from a users desire to be able to send emails to customers simply by clicking a link in their Customer section.

The idea was that by clicking the link, a new email dialog would open, with their email address already populated in the To: field.

Animal age changes

This project has two parts;

a) Change the age function so that if the difference between current date and birth date is < 180 days then display in Days or Weeks. Currently it is set at 90 days as of version 1.4.

b) Add the age of the animal as of the visit date to the visit description.

Additional report delivery formats

The idea of this sub project of the Business Analysis Toolkit is to allow the existing Report section to produce its reports in a limited set of export formats.

Namely;

CSV - for use in spreadsheet applications

XML - for use in programming and some database applications

The SQL from the reports will be used to generate the dataset but instead of merging to a pdf, the raw data will dump instead.

Patient and Customer Search By ID

This development will allow users to search for patients and customers using their unique IDs. These ID numbers are assigned by OpenVPMS when the customer or patient is created.

Clinics can use these IDs to uniquely identify customers or patients for purposes such as invoice/payment tracking.

Searching would occur when using the current Patient and Customer selection screens. This feature would include a refinement of the current "thinking" the program currently does when trying to understand what the user is trying to search for.

Printing multiple copies of a document

By adding a Print Quanitity option to the interactive print dialog, it avoids the need to press print multiple times when needing to print multiple copies of a document. This project seeks to have this added to the current print dialog.
