add custom smtp headers

Is there any way I can add custom headers to outgoing email? 

I would like to add the header X-CMail-GroupName = openvpms to be able to report on mails sent from different sources on my smtp server.

I don't think it can be done in OpenVPMS without code changes. You might be able to find an SMTP proxy that you can route OpenVPMS requests through to add the header.

I think http://emailrelay.sourceforge.net/ might work to do this its actually pretty powerful
