[General Discussion] The Pom's back

Hi Folks, Time for an end-of-year check-in! When I was last here in Feb, I downloaded OpenVPMS and had a play. Results were mixed and I felt that there were signs of great potential, but that the software was not ready to take any further yet. How things have changed - a look at the current demo shows great progress so well done to all concerned!

[Product Module] Editing Products

When trying to edit a product eg. active indredients, dispensing units etc. I am unable to save any changes and get one of 2 error messages, both under the heading "Failed to save medication" 1/ "Duplicate entry '46640 - activeIngredients for key 1' 2/ Failed to save medication. It may have been changed by another user Any hints anyone? Rhys 8)

[Workflow Module]Creating Schedules

I have just started to familiarise myself with openvpms and unfortunately have stumbled at the first block! Under Workflow- Scheduling no options seem to appear. How do I create main appointment schedules, surgery schedules etc. Cheers, Rhys

[Subscriptions] Time to adopt a real open source license?

The Open Source Initiative is getting tough on any vendors who claim to be open source despite not actually using a license approved by the OSI. From opensource.org: [i]Open Source has grown up. Now it is time for us to stand up. I believe that when we do, the vendors who ignore our norms will suddenly recognize that they really do need to make a choice: to label their software correctly and honestly, or to license it with an OSI-approved license that matches their open source label. And when they choose the latter, I'll give them a shout out, as history shows.[/i]

[Patient Module] Confirmation on Reminder Printing

As per discussion at the workshop. I believe there should be a simple yes/no dialogue after printing reminders. The user should confirm x reminders have been printed before the reminders are flagged as printed.
