Altering appointment type length

Hello!

I'm trying to alter default appointment type length on our system and cannot work out how to do it.

We already have a few appointment types that automatically book as 30 minutes (eg euthanasia, acupuncture, long consult) but I'd like to edit others to be however long I wish. All I can get to is a screen that allows me to edit the colour of the appointment type. I know you can manually edit the length of any appointment but I am trying to make the system less 'clicky' for our staff and default appointment/procedure type lengths will help with this.

Sarah - it is done by tweaking the schedule - go to Administration|Organisation|Schedule and edit the schedule - clicking the Appointment Types will look like:

As you can see, for the schedule, you can set the slot size, and for each appointment type you can set the number of slots (ie its default length).

ie on the schedule you can set both what appointment types are available and what their default length is.
