Idexx in house lab module ?

Topic Two,

Finally been worn down by the Idexx rep to trial in house lab equipment.

We want to be able to have the patients lab results appear on their openvpms record if possible. Idexx is talking about an openvpms lab module - is this the plugin mentioned in the search results. We do not want to connect directly to Idexx just to our inhouse Idexx machines so I dont think we are after Vet Connect Plus.

PS : Just spotted Yuri's post will try and get a letter from Idexx giving approval for the plugin in case thats needed.

Hi Geoff,

You will need to connect to Vetconnect Plus as this is how our two way integration works for both In House and External Idexx pathology.  

It requires installation of a plugin and some simple setup in OpenVPMS and then linking your specific products (billing) to the Idexx vetlab tests.  Idexx have the documentation and plugin and can assist otherwise send a email to support[at]openvpms[dot]com and we can offer some paid support to setup for you in collaboration with Idexx.  :-)

Hi Tony,

Managed to get the plugin from Idexx and installed fine then discovered the rest of what I require doesn't appear until 2.2 and later versions. So stalled for now until I get around to updating.
