Letters not printing properly

We just upgraded to 1.5 (beta) and have had a problem with patient letters not printing properly upon completing the invoice, despite being set up to do this. Patient forms print out fine here. With patient letters we do not get the option of filling out the text in the windows that pop up, it just prints out with these blank. If we go into patient documents & click on print, we can then enter information into the windows & it will print fine.

Sorry for late reply.

1.5 introduced the "immediate" print option which would allow you to nominate in the template if you wanted to print as soon as the template they where generated from a charged product.  Unfortunately this immediate option doesn't support letter user defined field prompting as our focus was initially on forms rather than letters.  As you mention you can still print out letters as you used to do in 1.4 so this has not changed but agree it is confusing.

I will create a JIRA to add letter user defined field prompting to the immediate printing function and get Tim to cost. Not a trivial exercise but definitely possible.
