[OpenVPMS Developers] Open Forum

Hello - I was wondering if you can shed some light into how Open works. When we were in the implemenation stage when we had questions regarding why something was created a certain way and how it can be improved we were advised to 'Put it on the Forum'. So I am wondering how the 'Forum' works and who is the 'Forum' and how we can tailor our program to how we prefer to use it? For example we like to communicate with our staff each week about the pets have been pts - so I ran the Patient Deceased Report and came up with questionable results - one patient when I knew there were more - so who do I turn to to get an answer? I did put it on the Forum with no results - so is that the end of the story with the Forum? - either no one has a problem and it is just me, or no one uses the report? I would like to get this issue and others that we come across to be resolved and I just dont know who or how. Thank you for your time, Anna

Re: [OpenVPMS Developers] Open Forum

Hmm... the report looks broken for me too. I'll take a look at it and see if I can't fix it.

Cheers, Paul

Re: [OpenVPMS Developers] Open Forum

I noticed that one reason it's coming out incorrectly on our end is that the report only looks at _active_ deceased patients. Our staff have been marking deceased patients as inactive, presumably because they're then sure not to generate a reminder, or perhaps just from old habits. I've modified the report to show active and inactive patients. It produced better results for me.

Cheers, Paul

As per your comments, I've fixed the template at http://www.openvpms.org/customisation/deceased-patient-report
