A question was posed in the forums last month about the use of regular expression ranges in Jasper reports.
I suspect the answer will be more based in Jasper report functionality then OpenVPMS per se.

Do parameters queried in OpenVPMS through the Report interface allow the use of regular expressions?
Can the mysql functions for regular expressions be typed in with the search expression itself?

Or does OpenVPMS sanitize the parameters to prevent sql insertions etc etc.
