Email Setup for Reminder

Hi All,

I am trying to set up E-Mail configuration in VPMS .

Till now I have done changes in Practice,Practice Location E-mail Id with purpose selected as Reminder . and define our smtp server in Our Practice Location . And also set the username and password in applicationContext.xml .

Is there any other setting for sending the Reminders through OpenVpms .

As Sometimes I can see the reminder sent is equals to 1 , but customer side didn't receive any mail for reminder . Please help to share complete process for this mail set up .

Regards,

Harinder

read the above for changes that might be required to application context and were u can debug errors

2. You shouldnt be adding username and pass to application context...the section in the setup for use is outdated and needs updating when someone has time.

3. If your server is sending the mail yet your mail host is rejecting it as spam or other junk then you will Open will record it as sent but it will never arrive.  you need to check your host

Other than that there is lots of historical setup information throughout these forums

Re: Email Setup for Reminder

Edit the Practice location and username and password in there.

Edit the application context to add additional security options.
