Financial Reporting

Having recently moved from Rx works I am missing their products and services report which had all products and services on the vertical axis and the vets on the horizontal axis and reported the number of times each product or service was charged with the total and average charge for each.

Has anyone been able to do a similar report in open? With 20 + "types" and 9 vets on the team generating this information is a cumbersome process using the reports that we currently have.

What OpenVPMS reports are you currently using to get this information ?

Tony, I am using the clinician product type sales vers 2 which only seems to allow 1 product type and 1 vet at a time. Maybe I am not entering the parameters correctly. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Maree,

If you leave the report clinician and product type both at % it will do all clinicians and all product types and group by clinician i.e you will get a page per clinician detailing every product type with totals.

I think this will help .. if it doesn't please yell. :-)

That worked just fine!

I see now that we have a few sales without product type. Is there an easy way to identify which products don't have a type?

Hi Maree,

I've just uploaded a report I had for this purpose here: http://www.openvpms.org/customisation/stock-lists-finding-products-incomplete-entries

Just add them as a report and run from the reports workspace.
