INSTALLATION OF OPENVPMS ON MAC OS X MINI SERVER

It would be much appreciated if anyone could provide some pointers on loading OpenVPMS onto a new MAC Mini Server running MAC OS X Snow Leopard?  For example, which guide would be better to try, the Linux or BSD guide?  What snags along the way?

I couldn't find a 1.5 Release Implementation Guide.  We are hoping to do quite a few of these so I will write a guide once I get the first off the ground.

Re: INSTALLATION OF OPENVPMS ON MAC OS X MINI SERVER

OpenVPMS 1.5 is not released as yet, so the documentation refers to earlier versions.

As I understand it, OSX has different package management to Linux/BSD so neither of these guides are directly applicable.

You best use the Windows installation as a guide for what software is required, and adapt it from there.

I suspect that the comment about running OpenOffice as a headless service on Ubuntu equally applies to OSX however: http://www.openvpms.org/documentation/install-openoffice-headless-servic...
