List of Letters & Forms

Hi,

Is there a way I can print off a list of all Client Forms and Patient Forms on the system, and their status eg: active or not active?

Is there a way I print off a list of all Client Letters and Patient Letters on the system, and their status?

List of Letters & Forms

There's no inbuilt facility to do this.

You'd need to write a report.

List of letters & Forms

Sandra @ Bellarine

Hi Tim,

Am I able to get an idea how much a report would cost?

Format idea so you know roughly what I want:

1. List of all patient forms available on OpenVPMS with the ability to view INactive forms on their own (not amongst active list on report)

2. List of all patient letters available on OpenVPMS with the ability to view INactive letters on their own (not amongst active list on report)

3. List of all client forms available on OpenVPMS with the ability to view INactive forms on their own (not amongst active list on report)

4. List of all client letters available on OpenVPMS with the ability to view INactive letters on their own (not amongst active list on report)

Re: List of letters & Forms

Hi Sandra,This seems a pretty simple report which I am happy to contribute to the community How about a name filter plus tick boxes to nominate the various template types  plus an include inactive tick box ? Report to show names and active/inactive status ?CheersTony On Tue, Aug 10, 2010 at 2:30 PM, <sandra@bellvet.com.au> wrote:

List of letters & Forms

Hi Tony,

I just followed my written instructions (that I've attached so you know what I'm doing) to download the file and I've received this error: Failed to read template-list-report.jrxml

I haven't downloaded a report for a while, maybe I'm making a pretty obvious mistake, any idea's?

Re: List of letters & Forms

Hi Sandra,Had a quick check and the file downloaded was html format i.e like you saved the web page that contained the attachment.  Think you selected File ->Save As from browser menu rather then right click on attachment and select Save As ?? Anyway have loaded for you so you can check it out. :-)CheersTony On Fri, Aug 13, 2010 at 10:58 AM, <sandra@bellvet.com.au> wrote:

Re: List of letters & Forms

Hi Sandra,

I got the same error and I think it might be something in the file itself. The OpenVPMS log file shows the following error :

12 Aug 2010 12:25:57,312 ERROR Digester,http-8080-2:1538 - Parse Error at line 119 column 79: Element type "topPen" must be declared......

Which I think means iReport is not able to read the file because I have seen this before??

Regards Des

Re: List of letters & Forms

Hi Guys,Confirmed on site  that template file downloaded was html not jrxml and have loaded and works a treat ..Yes, sometimes you need to be careful with ireport and make sure it is set to output the resultant report file in the same version as is currently used by OpenVPMS.  I confirmed this is correct on the report in question.  :-) CheersTony

Downloading Report

Hi Tony,

Just went to download another report, I right clicked on the link and selected save link as, I then typed the name of the report with a .jrxml extension and I changed the SAVE as TYPE to to ALL FILES but it was on Firefox Document before I changed it. Is there a way I can get around this in future?

Sandra.

Re: Downloading Report

Hi Sandra,No idea what might be happening there.  Your firefox must think you are trying to save a web page ..CheersTony On Fri, Aug 13, 2010 at 12:40 PM, <sandra@bellvet.com.au> wrote:

Downloading Report

Hi,

I've tried to load another report without any luck and I've had no problems in the past. Can anyone give me any hints on how to load this report OR do I need to see our support people is this more our computer problem.

Sandra.

Downloading report

Are they still downloading with the html extension?

Not sure how to stop firefox from doing this in your case Sandra (firefox thinks jrxml is a webpage) but I have had this issue with other downloads in the past.

I have found that often the file will download named as follows;

filename.jrxml.html

If you delete the .html bit sometimes the file will behave as it should. Something to try anyway until a smarter person helps you!

Downloading Report

Hi Matt,

The only extension is .jrxml and I'm changing the file type to all files instead of firefox document.

Your advice is always appreciated - Thanks!
