Stock Control

As we are about to embark on stocktake and stock adjustments for the first time, does anyone have a report that gives you current stock levels that you can count against so that you do not have to go through every product in the system, check if your levels are correct and then move onto the next one. It would save double handling if we could skip products whose levels are already correct.
I presume currently people just print a price list and count against each entry and adjust?

Is there a way you can run a stock valuation for end of year once your levels are correct?

As I think was mentioned previously, navigating through stock is very laborious as you need to enter each individual item. I think Matt suggested an email view type system with products listed in the upper pane then adjustments made in the lower pane for any item you click on - has anyone had any thoughts about this?

Stock Take Lists

Hi Nick,

I have developed a Stock Take List report for you to use. It details products and their current quantities with room on the sheet for an actual quantity figure.  It also allows you to select by product type, name and whether you want merchandise, medications or both.

Unfortunately I currently can't add to shared resources area on web site but have attached report so you can add to your templates.  I will add to web site as soon as I can.

Check it out and if you or anyone finds any problems or need any changes please yell.  BTW designed for version 1.3.

I will work on a Stock valuation report on the weekend if that's OK ...

Cheers
Tony
