Related Project: http://www.openvpms.org/project/email-enhancements

Currently documents such as medical records or certificates will be emailed exactly as they print out. For those of us that use stationery with letterhead, this means our email attachments will look a bit bare and have limited information to indicate where the generated documents came from.

There has been discussion about how we might include the ability for our templates to know they are being emailed. This will allow us to include elements in our documents that only appear if the document is being emailed. eg. Colour logos, text etc It should make our emailed histories look a lot more professional.

Project description:

This project will add support for recurring appointments.

A recurring appointment repeats one or more times, but has the same start and end time, appointment type, customer, patient, reason, notes and clinician fields from the first appointment.

To support recurrence, appointments will have a Repeat field which may be one of the following options:

  • None
  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Yearly

It will default to "None".

Appointments will also have a Repeat Period, which determines how often the appointment repeats. This may be one of:

Change order of Check-In flow so Weight is before Templates and notes

Project description:

Forum: http://www.openvpms.org/forum/checkin-process-order

JIRA: https://openvpms.atlassian.net/browse/OVPMS-1088

Would it be possible to change the checkin process so that the very first screen is the patients weight followed by forms and notes.

The way that it works currently forms printed at checkin are printed with the patients previously recorded weight which is generally wrong. We have removed the patient weight field from our forms and manually record it but it would save a little time if the correct weight could be added to forms automatically.

Forum: http://www.openvpms.org/forum/new-note-and-visit-button

Jira: https://openvpms.atlassian.net/browse/OVPMS-1087

This suggestion came from the recent Users Meeting.

The most common use of medical records is to add notes. If there is a note added without a visit (eg.Phone call etc) a Visit must first be created.

There was a request for a new button in Medical Records that allowed a user to create a New Visit & Note with one click.

i. The new Visit inherit the date from the Note. Default should be the current date.
ii. The Visit Reason will be left Blank.
iii. The focus should be in the Note box.
iv. The button should live in the Medical records space with New, Delete buttons etc. There is no need for a current selection to be current for this button to be visible.
