New to open vpms. But not sure why when a medication/product is sold when I go back to stock location the number of stock is not changing.

Hi everyone,

We had a request from one of our referral clinics in regards to our medical records and date order (an old chestnut I know).

My understanding is that date order goes Visit>Note

Their confusion comes in not being able to see where the visits start (and why note dates are therefore not always in chronological order). 

Hopefully someone can tell me how you search in the work flow for an appointment in the future - preferably by Client surname.

I'm not sure if this is a desired behaviour or a bug, but it was a surprise to me.

When a template that has Print Aggregate ticked is added to another Template that doesn't have Print Aggregate ticked, then all original line items from the aggregated template are printed. 

I expected it to print in the second template the same as it would print by itself.

This is how the Print Aggregate ticked template prints if used as an item:

Just mulling over the macro functionality.

Macro codes are case sensitive, but you can't make the same code in lower case and upper case e.g. @ga and @GA can not exist on the same system. But if you have a macro @ga the @GA will not expand.

So the system kind of contradicts itself.

Maybe if everything gets converted to lower case when expanding a macro? @GA will convert to @ga and then expand. (And also if you save @GA as a macro then @ga would also expand).

We were wondering the booking notes box could be set to wrap text.

Some owners like sending long notes and currently we have to resize the appointment dialog to see them.

Can I request that a 'Complete' button gets added to the buttons at the bottom of the work lists. It seems a long way around to Edit & add a completed date / time for recalls, tasks etc.

Trying to work out how to get an inhouse test ie urinalyis to show on the patient. Currently under Product type of Laboratory. At the moment only medication lists.

Any chance that the medication label screen can have a "Print & Ok" button, rather than "Print Label" then Ok? Maybe my learning is slowing down, but it is hard to break habits from previous systems where it printed automatically. And I'm lazy - 1 click seems so, so much easier than 2.
